Pricing

The lawyer’s fee may be agreed as a contractual fee or as a statutory (non-contractual) fee. Before taking over a matter, the lawyer always informs the client about the expected scope and time requirements of the requested legal services.

The contractual fee is governed by the agreement between the client and the lawyer in the legal services contract:

  • Hourly fee – the fee is calculated as the hourly rate multiplied by the number of hours reasonably spent on the legal service. Depending on legal and time complexity, the hourly rate ranges from CZK 1,500 to CZK 2,500 per hour (excl. VAT).
  • Fixed fee – a fixed amount for a specific legal service task. The task can be defined by agreement or according to the Attorney Tariff (Decree No. 177/1996 Coll.).
  • Flat-rate fee – a fixed fee for legal services provided over a specific period. Suitable mainly for legal entities with regular legal needs.

If the fee is not agreed in the contract, the statutory (non-contractual) fee according to the Attorney Tariff applies.
